Indiana Waterways
Five artists, three writers, and scientists joined forces with Art Nature Consortium, ANC, to promote conservation of Indiana waterways. ANC's first project, 2020-2024 created public awareness, statewide and nationally, of the problems our waterways face. The project included a traveling art exhibition of 100 paintings accompanied by a 235-page hardback book filled with conservation essays and the art. The 100-painting exhibition traveled to major museums in Indiana in 2022-24. The artists and essayists spoke to groups across the state about what needs to be done to make our waterways safe.
In 2024, ANC launched it's second project, Glacial Lakes with artists, writers and scientists to produce a continuing education and awareness for conservation.
